There is this pleco which I had before and which I only realised recently that it is called "Mian Dian(Burmese) Pipa" in chinese. I bought this type of pleco twice before but didn't manage to keep it alive and also didn't manage to get more information from the person who sold them. I did a search in the website, but couldn't find anything, maybe because i got the english name wrong. Any brother know what it is called in English? When you look at the underside of this pleco, it looks like an "8" (sorry i do not have a picture to show).

Bingo, thanks guys, its "hill stream loach", I was searching under pleco, no wonder I can't find them in the website. Why did they call them "Mian Dian Pipa" in chinese, I wonder. Anyway, I wanted more infor because they die easily, so need to know how to keep them alive. Thanks again.

Hi terence, they sure die easily. I only bought 6pcs so far, some die within a few days, only 1pcs i managed to keep alive for approx 3wks, which I think is still too short a time.
