Another L-number bites the dust...

Here are two pictures of L97 wrigglers.
DOL 12th Feb 2010.
I must say I was very surprise at the egg size.
They were easily 5-6 mm and much larger than those from L46.
So far from the documented pictures of Pseudacanthicus fry each species seems to have a distinctive juvenile pattern and spotting.
I reckon it would be possible to tell which Pseudacanthicus sp. when you look at juvenile pattern.
It would be nice to ascertain its juvenile markings.
Updates will follow if no "accident" happens... :)

Pseudacanthicus can really spawn. Documentation state that the experienced parents can pop about 1000 eggs..celticfish snap more pictures pplease.

With the following pictures its possible to say that L97 spotting can be very varied.
At this point I will not rule out that its possible for L97 to be without spotting judging from the few in the brood that are almost black with minimal spotting.
It will be interesting to see how the spotting (or lack of) develops in the darker ones.
