Guys, may I ask whats the diff between the Rio Xingu Royal Pleco (LDA63 or L27 Rio Xingu) in the 3rd pic and L190?

Hi bro! haha another kaki into panaque. Basically I use the snout and body shape to differentiate between xingu and L190. For xingu, they are slimmer and have a longer snout compared to L190 which has a shorter snout and broader body. Oh another thing is their colour. L190 stripes are more silverish while xingu one is not. ;)
The best way to learn is to buy the 2 pieces home and then take picture post here. After people id it then you everyday stare at them to find differences. But this is an expensive way to learn of course. :D

I agree with most of what they mentioned except the lines part. I have seen L191 with straight lines before and the best part is that the lines are not broken like the common L191.
For differentiation of small royals I think L190, L27 xingu and L27 tapajos are difficult to differentiate cos they look almost similar but after staring at them for long enough, you will be able to differentiate between xingu and L190 easily. For tapajos I cannot comment cos I have not kept them before. As for L191 it is difficult to differentiate them from Peru green when young. I once heard from a LFS this is the prime reason why they don't import small peru greens.
