In general ... goldline plecos come in 4 main types (Cross matching of below mentioned characteristics) ...

1. Broad or Fine line
2. Tapered or Humpy Head

Pricing for plecos is pretty dependent on market forces and freight costs ... for they are mainly from wild caught ...

End of the day before purchase ... is that wat u r looking for? R u comfortable with the pricing? With the same or lower pricing can I find another of the same quality?

Just like XB ... 20" full gold head, pearls and 6th cross ... gold-base thick frame with intensity equiv to your "rolex king" .... S$20k is it expensive? With S$20k can u find the same or better?

End of the day its how much u r willing to detach for tangibles ...

But of cos ... 12" Albino L001 at $500 .. is that expensive? Its a yes and no question ...

simply can I find 12" Albino L001 at a price lower? If yes .. then its expensive ... but if the fella had won AQ07 open category 3rd prize ... then perhaps its worthy of $500 ... cos no other Albino L001 had won AQ07 prize ...

Hope prior is beneficial to you.

I'm rather skeptical on with identification of pleco with teeth shape of U or V ... simply shall pleco mouth pic be taken from another angle or mouth moving .. the shape will change ...

but rather the number of teeth does tell a fair bit ..
