We have done nothing out of ordinary. There are many reports around the world that the hypan. do breed readily give the right condition like age and etc.

"Apistomaster" is a person I know who did it all the time. We have disrupt the theory that these fishes will take a break as they breed all year around.

In captive condition i agree with you, but in the wild, i do believe they are seasonal....... certain time of the year, water is rich with food soucre, female gravids and well condition. They breed. In captive, they are fed like almost every now an then........... why not possible to breed readily?
