i think no diff except small dorasl and more aerodynamic body structure...:)

i agreee. the dorsal as well as the head is smaller. the thunder series hav a very flat head. but for colourwise, thunder have a better colouration, BUT there are those big head goldline which can match and give the thunder some competition.

Thunder term is utilised on goldline plecos with marking resembling that of lighting zig-zag pattern ...

Tapered head and dorsal is used on differentiate Aruguia and Topajos ... although denture is required as well ..

My goldline has more zig zag leh ... bigger head hump

but samuel's line is thicker lah ... head more tapered

Bro when the fellow is stressed the colour tends to turn lighter hence look nicer therefore after it has acclimatised the colour will turn dull thus bwang looking. This is what I have observed ;)

Bro actually before the thunder from tapajos is introduced, the original tapajos is also called goldline. Remember last time they always ask how to differentiate tapajos from araguaia? :D

By the way it seems that we do not have tocantins and the "original" tapajos imported during the recent frenzy hor. I prefer old school fish :D

i never beleive in extra dutie.. i beleive in letting them learn more, like for example u as a COS or BOS cannot/ not sure how to do your duties than it is my responsibilities to let you do a few more duties to educate and familiarize you with your duties and roles... Extra is so out dated.... the in thing now is to educate... :D
