Feeding lion sinking pellets seem fine for me. SHould not poise health concerns.

As for 183 and 181, i think they are plretty close resemblance, probably L183 will not lose it white seam during adult adult? Just guessing. :)

It appears to be a L-183. I have spawned and raised them. The L-184 also has the white seam on the caudle and dorsal while it is young. There are several others as well making fry had to identify unless you see the parents.

I found my fry preferred baby brine shrimp over other foods and it made them grow faster.

Oh.. okok.. thanks for the replies eh..really know nutz about the identification of them .. was confused as i read some where that the 183 sold by lfs are actually 181 juv's misinterpreted as 183... nonetheless, i guess I'll have to wait for the latter to grow older.. was contemplating whether i shud get another juv for it.. it barely finishes a pellet on its own..anw, I think its best to continue the pellet diet for it.. hatching BBS would be a waste just to feed this one juv... cheers :D
