the spiny in first 2 pics is about 5-6in while the one in third pic is 7-8in.
notice both has got the same base color and orange tip at dorsal and tail, though the larger specimen is more prominent

The spots will not diminished like how it happens on L97. However, it might grow smaller and finer.
If only the caudal hard ray is orange n not the whole fin, the possibilities is low. Btw, do compare with boths eyes and its mouth, they are not the same, although similar.

Actually spinosus keeping was something very interesting. It comes in many variants, in terms of colouration and body markings. It will somehow keep us wandering whether they are L96 or L63 or a L283 or even a L375. And if we cant come up with any numbers, we will just termed them as a new sp.
I guess from all the pseudas that i have kept so far, this is the most interesting species among all pseudas. There isn't any specific criteria we can judge how nice a L160 be. Unlike others, where whose L25 has the most red, WINs. or whose L273 has the most gold than black, but a species that comes in many many variations that keeps us pondering who are you.

Finally found a pic of L283, a closely resemblence of the spinosus. Wandering if that got mixed up in some of the L160 shipments???
