Nowadays singapore everything also getting more expensive .. yet SMALLER ... the same goes for my chicken rice ....

Housing is no exception .. getting smaller and smaller but price getting higher ... no place to put fish tank also ...

Get bigger house .. wanna knock down wall of room to get more space ....
- so its the wall in grey that can knock down (Circled Right)
- or black wall ? (Circled Left)

Got feeling its grey wall can knock down leh ... cos bomb shelter confirm cannot knock down one .... and its in black ...

u wana know why similar? thats becos the Architect Consultant islikely the same lar..... save cost mah...... design one project use for 3 BTOs..... if not how to make $$$? Deficit is a big No-No- in BIG organization.... :p

One of the walls that the stupid architect used to partition an area in my living room and call it the study room was gone long ago :mad:. If you still want to knock another wall then the stairway will be part of my house already :D

Are you sure you won't become the living room master as well after you have taken in the sotong?

Anyway, why dun u take out the kitchen wall as well, if u're getting the 4-rm unit, then put in a partition tank in that space :p
As for the wall which u intend to knock down in the 4-rm unit, u might as well knock down the adjacent wall & make that your study area, with the circled wall space to put your other partition tank :D

Or like what Edmund say, be his neighbour. Better yet, buy masionette in my area lor, corridor unit only selling at $420k, still value for money, compared to the small new pigeon-holes the HDB is passing off as a flat in the current housing projects :p

The ideal situation will be the moment I get the flat they approve the display of 3 X 3tier 3ft tanks in my living room and lastly the most important is that I want my living room windows to face east so that morning sunlight can come in thanks :D If no morning sunlight or too little morning sunlight I'll reject the flat one ah.

bro, can register..................... so long as the marriage certificate is ready by the time you collect the keys…………….

with your time frame of 3-4 years, ideal to go for those Build-to Order (BTO) projects, can choose your ideal design................... in the meantime, let your CPF grow, this way you can payback one lump sum and do not need to stretch your repayment till 30years........................ IMO, it’s best to keep your repayment period short, say 10years…………this way, once your liability for your house is over, your CPF can start to grow again, in time for your child’s (who should be 10yrs old then) tertiary education…………………:D

such an approach is purely just a statement on my part, typically for young singaporean couples who are depending solely on their income/savings and are not getting any loans from banks/parents……………….. ;)

of course there may be other ways such as stretching till 30yrs, repay low amounts and use the excess to invest…………….. let money work for money………………:cool:


highest level flats are nice as they have higher ceilings, but be prepared that water dripping from the top of the block might dirty/damage your windows...................

pray hard that you get a good queue number, cos everyone wants the East, rather than kena the hot afternoon sun.................:p
