New 12.5inch L95

I shouldnt have gone down to Ark shop,which i told myself i got to control my spending on fish,but too bad,went down to his shop,kena poisoned again!!:o Saw this 12.5inch L95 swimming at the tank and saw the dark spot and dark base colour and huge tail and fin.In the end ”中毒太深“ decided to dabao bk without my wife knowledge,but just now kena from her again,surprisingly this time round she didnt say much,i think she must have given up on me liao:D

try hard to get is pic as he keep hiding behind.

In anyway ... 11" Red Aro fight with this 11" L95 ... nothing to say ... stupid red see bull frog hide corner ... see small frogs 1-2 days eat 1-2 piece ... normal aros will only wack plecos of less than 3/4 its size one .. this fella head on with pleco of same size ... *faints*

yah yah,there is another 1 in other tank,but i dun like that pc,the base colour abit pale,only this pc the base colour is dark and the cheek is deep orange.although the fin abit torn but hack with it,as long as the fin hard stalk is not bend or break,its still can grow bk nicely 1.:D

its a norm for acclimatizing plecos to behave off-normal ...

as mentioned in my posts for this thread ... if your L95 is moving actively .. then suddenly one day park there no move ... THATS IT ..

I would like to add on point of "observation" ....

first u have to understand characteristics of the species u r keeping .. next understand the usual/norm behaviour of specimen u are having ... from then it will be easier for u to detect any issues or problems that may arise ...

ie. usually eat pellets readily ... today very sluggish ... something is wrong liao ...

Observation I'll say .. its one of the few primary rules for fish keeping ...

100% agreed,my L95 just parked himself on the back glass pane but occasional will move up and down,i throw Algae wafer,he dun even move,just eating the fresh algae behind,in fact this L95 is a efficient algae cleaner,i notice 1 big patch area around him really stainless w/o a patch of algae. Really a hardworking worker.Bro can L95 just eat fresh algae?issit ok??
