Nice plecos & very good placement of driftwood. But there do not seem to be many hiding places. Will plecos be happy with that?

Regards
Nitin

I felt.. too many fishes and too little on the ground. Some are perching on the wood. The natural position will be parking on ground. Less stress is good for them.

Thanks for all the comments, most of them are perched on the big driftwood and the wood touching the ground is reduced to the minimal to have a really clean tank n less mess. Most of the plecos are hiding in the holes of the driftwood and all will come out to feed when feeding time is up due to acclimatizing them.

The tank looks great!
How do you make sure the different dietary needs for panaque and pseuda are adressed?

Hi Stan,

Thanks for your compliment.
All my pseudas and panaque are fed on hikari carnivore pellets(to build up their mass) and hikari sinking goldfish pellets(to help promote better digestion and colour). Both types of plecos loves these food as i dont believe a vegetarian diet like algae pellets, cucumber or potatoes for panaques is always a neccessity. The driftwood they chew on is more or lest vegetarian that helps in their digestive system too.

My tanks consist of a small 1.5 ft long sump tank running on a Eheim compact 5000 and a Eheim 2080. Weekly water change of 15% with new cotton wool. Tank temp 28-29 deg, constant ph of 6.8. Hopes this suffice. :)
