Imported from Taiwan by Bro Quix. i am so delighted to get it from him when he decided to sold let it off with the help of Gecko. So far this fellow is doing very well with me for many years and more good years ahead i hope. There was abother piece from Taiwan owned by Happygolucky, but unforunately, that piece is died. :(
The TS fish has a high shoulder, but the body structured as a whole is not bulky rather longer in proportion.
Las time there is a blog written by a Taiwanese hobbyist to ID the Mei Tu Sha, L185, L186, L63, GSHW apart but the blog i think was removed already.

Ed, still give me credit after so many years...:o
Glad it went to you, ur dedication is remarkable...respect bro.
Met Boss Chui last week, he has not seen GSHW for a while...used to get batches in the past. Next time u visit, discuss with him, his theory, and speculated location.
Cheers

Hi Gec, of cos i have to give credit to you, without you linking me i cant imagine if i ever have any chance to own it.
Bro Lee, i amnot sure if GSHW is shortbodied fish, but generally their trait is stout and thick body structure. As they belong to the blackie family, their wen tends to fade over time to full blak.
BUt nowadays, L185 is also rare, hardly see them nowadays, wither no demand or not exported.

Oh, GSHW is a common name given by the Taiwanese. It is not official
Lovely, but it not easy id-ing a pleco out of water especially holding by itz snort. but i love the second piece. First one look like a faded black n white pseuda. :)
