Proposal of new PCS productions: PlecoPedia

PlecoFanatics had done a similar job for PlecoPedia ... but personally felt that it should have been made different from whats available in planetcatfish ...

Instead of showing ID of Plecos, characteristics and images which PlanetCatfish is offering.

Why not present something different?

Encyclopedia Specific to Plecos Raising in Singapore?
- Pleco Diets available in Singapore
- Tank setups etc
- Sickness and solutions?
- Good travelling spots for Pleco hunts around our region: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand .. etc

A one-stop encyclopedia from "How to buy a pleco", "Keep it alive" to "Breeding of Plecos" ...

We cant offer everything right now, but I believe everything starts from small .. and knowledge will be accumulated over time .. :D

i believe a close comparison of similar alike species would be something different that we can approach, other than those IDing of species. That would need us to go really in depth of what we enjoy keeping.

Furthermore, on overseas pleco sightings, we really need "volunteers" to keep us update on their Field reports, which i believe not all are willing/bothered to share. This could be another interesting finds, if we could keep in close contacts with those overseas LFS.

Its meant to be all-in-one reference ... hopefully dummy-proof reference ...

Main cheeze isnt just about wat type of vege or pellets to throw in, simply prior is available all over the web ....
- how to secure the vege? what methods do pple in Singapore use?
- Pellets? Whats available in Singapore? When to use which pellets? for which pleco?

Getting long term info feedback from overseas counterparts is a chore ... and seriously brain-taxing and obligationally restraining ...

Likely writings or articles made in similar to what you have posted for "Hong Kong" thread would be appropriate. Touching on:
- Which part of hong kong?
- How to get there?
- Species varieties and good timings or calendar period to be there.
- Whats the concentration of shops in there?

Things like above would be what we can touch on ...

I cant commit to when it'll be up .. but definitely within first quarter of 2008 ...

this aint empty talk .. I'm currently taking comparisons between functionality and server load of tikiwiki and mediawiki ...
