Hi everyone, I'm new to keeping pleco and would like some advice. I jus set up a small table top fish tank about 45cm by 30cm. any rec for smaller size pleco. will bristlenose be suitable for beginners???

Hi welcome onboard PlecoClub sg. Bristlenose are a good start for beginners and they don't grow too big but from the dimension given, I would recommend you to get a bigger tank. ;)

Thanks. I would love a bigger tank but unable due to space constraint at my place. Where are good fish shop to get pleco other than NKS and C328. I went last week but they do not have stock for BN.

Yesterday I saw some adult specimens at C328. They do have the smaller sized ones in the nano tanks infront of their aro tank as well.

I happened to saw an ad of this fish shop at B/38 Telok Blangah Rise and paid a visit yesterday. They got quite nice plecos there. any reviews of this shop?

Oh you mean fish heaven? They were quite popular during the pleco craze period about a year back but it has quiet down. Didn't know they are still carrying plecs. I thought they have changed to selling goldfish already.:o

Bro L128 can grow to about 5-6 inches hence you need to take that into consideration since you say your tank is not that big ;)

Hi, for BN, u can try Y618, saw some there last week.

1 more note for u, it would also be good for you to compare the prices before buying any plecos from any LFS, unless that happens to be a rare pc & u die die must have it :D
