I have a group of pseudas; L24, L25, L65, L114 and L273 (13 total). Sizes are varied. Smallest is about 2.5" and largest is about 5.5". I provide driftwoods for hiding. Yesterday, I noticed that one of my L273 is very thin. He is the 4th largest in the group. How do I get it to eat? Thank you.

encountered such incident before, it is possible that it may not be well. or it could be too stressed up due to aggression.
i have a L79 & a L64 having this problem & I actually separated them from the lot.

Is he feeding at the first place?

This is my guess also but I really want to keep them together :(

Yes. He was doing okay a first. I got 7 pseudas first (all small ones), then second group is 5 fishes (the big ones are in this group) and last was a small L25. All other pseudas are getting fat except this one. I am feeding them all Hikari stuff; sinking carnivore, wafers and frozen bloodworms. Non-Hikari is Tetra bits.

I would suggest u take out tat smaller 25 from ur tank, and keep seperately from the rest. Pump him up before u return him to ur main tank.
It looks like he, if healthy, has not much food to eat, because of the aggression in ur tank. Its a "survival for the fittest" in ur tank now.

Yeah, I think so as well. I hate to separate it from the group but better have it alive than dead :(
Thank you all for your helpful suggestions :)

I can take a picture but I don't think you can see every fish. Even I have to stick my nose to the glass to be able to see some of them :o They are always hiding under the driftwoods  Looking at my tank, you will think its empty. I am planning to add some mid swimmers (tetras) so my tank will not look bare.

My condolences bro. My own experience is that I lay out my DW so that I can see all my plecos, while they are also comfortable under the DW. I comm with a gulper cat, so everytime I top up my goldfish feeders there's a lot of activity in the tank :)
