A friend is offering to sell his Pseuda sp. Typhoon. Its really expensive. Is this fish so rare that it demands the high price? Will you get it if you were me? Thanks.

it depends on individual's preference and their budget constraint. i believe any pseudas freak will be wanting to own one of them if the price is right. So far, the price of one was still sky high. A 5-6incher cost around $4xx. Are u hardcore enough to spend............

Yah, really depends, I also spent $6xx for my 11" Papa L81, as it's a really rare pleco to land on S'pore shore, considering Planet Catfish only listed L81 at 6" SL for full grown adult :p

Wat u waiting for? :D Afterall like wat fellow kakis highlighted, it will depend on individual spending power (which i think is a cruel fact). If i will you, i might consider getting it. but main consideration is price. I dun think this fish is rare, the prom is pple collecting them is keeping mum about itz collection local. Few years back, it already landed in Japan known as the "Fire dot pseuda". It will take a gamble for the price to drop, but i forsee it will not be in near future. :)
Although I don't know anything about this fish but I'll say if you think it worth that much then get it. Think carefully cos you might regret it later :)
If you can work within your comfort zone ! why not ! :D

i think have a look at the fish, its about affinity or sumthing like that. If you like what you see then buy, if not forget it. Be it typhoon, tycoon or whatever. It's a personal thing you know like buying a arowana...my 2 cents.:o

Agree with u bro!
Everytime u see a fish which u like, most likely u'll find ways to get it, if u have the money. Somemore, there's an LFS where u can use 0% interest free installments, w/o admin fees as well :D
But currently no new shipments, still eagerly awaiting for my new 10" L253
