i dun need a LDA65.......... maybe a decent size PSeudacanthicus sp. Peru or any exotic ones will be greatly appreciated! :D

The tour itself cost about US$1400. If we can have a group of 6+ people, we can decide our own programs, activities....

The regular route is to fly into US and catch a flight into Lima than a domestic into Iquitos (spell?)...this is the expensive part and for bros with free air miles to redeem, it helps. I will be able to find out ticket cost shortly, if not, will post after I come back the week after.

but 3 month warning a bit short for me...
not enough bullets.
however, the USD rate is very favourable now.
so it is a good time to consider the trip.

also, from the trip reports i have read, its much easier to buy the fish.
most of the guys that wrote the reports mentioned that you will probably not be able to catch most of the fish you desire.
seasonality and location is the main reason.
that said, when you get back to the "port" the fish exporters have everything you could want for sale.
and CHEAP!!!
the freight cost is the killer. :D

My kaki told me in total she spend ( just the expedition alone ) is about SGD$11k. Her trip report was in some "chinese fish magazine". Suppose to join her for that trip BUT the damages was outside my comfort zone moreover Singapore Pools never return my money so do a rain check lor ! :( :D

den can u personally catch net some Pseudohemiodon sp. `marbled` if u drop by Rio Itaya and Rio Alejandro (white water river)............ foursome will be good.... a pair of both gender will be great! :D

I know I eat more and occupy more sleeping space than edmundo lah ... but have to be fair mah ... cos I do have other strengths on top of edmundo leh ...

example when kena croc or anaconda ... they would prefer me than edmundo leh ... cos once hit .. confirm 1 month steady no need food ahh ... free insurance leh .. :D

i recall there may be some issues on shipping from brazil... license.
must be careful that the "exporters" are the real ones with actual license.
i don't think that will be a problem for places like peru, uraguay and argentina.
or, you may want to ask NKS to check with his brazillian connections... :D
