A 2008 updates for those L25s I been having and managed to take pics one...

First L25 ( Unsold piece)
Sao Felix L25
Size: 15"+
Diet: anything that sinks ( Frogs, Mp, Pellets)
Tank size:3ft by 18' by 18'
Filter : Canister Rena Xp4
Tank mates: None
Special:Note the spikes are not black... as red as the fins.

That I'm not sure... I dun realli assume their origin by their color. Juz go for what I like and wat I can afford...

Pleco with u so long liao .. caudal finages haven grow back ahh? Problem with bigger plecos?

btw ... make use of the gallery album functions leh ... cos attachments will often disappear over time one leh .. :D

Not din keep growing...

It juz keep extending it out... Be growing since then. I oso dunno why sia.. Maybe Muz extract its DNA and do some experiment to explain its finnage growth...

i like the massive one cos when i saw it's caudal flare........... iz so majestic...... :eek: althot no full caudal red blar blar blar blar............ but worth every single cent.

no la........... it will not affect other's passion for L25s.............. color fade? put it in mine 5ft, royal rumble helps tone up the coloration...... :D

I already have one little 25, and next week I'm collecting a 15" one with totally red fins and spines, I cannot wait to post some pics up to people that will truely appreciate it (as my wife really couldnt get a .........)

The fish I'm collecting has been in the UK for 18mths. Its from a shop but its more like a private collection as i'm also getting a very nice 600, 3 small 65 or 63s tbc a large 63, 3 large jet black psueda (L?) 2 52 LDA65 and 3 L400:D

Am very excited about Tuesday coming.

SoTong - I am connected to the trade and can consul directly. I have feelers out in many places finding the rare species.

Hey Gecko, seriously your in London next week? who are you seeing? I only live 20 mins outside London in Essex. Whereabouts are you going to be? I'd be happy to take you around a few shops, would be great if you could come over and ID a load of dark psueda'a that I'm picking up on Tuesday. Along wit the huge 25.

i thought that your black L25 in ur last pic, was a female. The shape of the dorsal is so different from the rest that you have. By the way, the cave that you placed inside was too big, in terms of the circumference.
They prefer it to be just nice, so that the Male is able to "hook" on the sides with their pectoral to prevent the females from escaping.

I collected the new Sao Felix yesterday, she is potentially a very nice fish. But once again for the second time this week she is in very poor condition. I think I have rescued her as she is so skinny she would barely live another month. She is now in a 4ft tank on her own, and within 30mins of her release she was already eating mussel and prawn. I also added some NLS Thera+ going to check on her later.
