Hi all

Can I check the diet for L239? It is an Ancistrini sp right?

Omnivore, Carnivore or herbivore or wood eater?

Thanks

Jeff

OK. got the reply from a search.... i did not know it's from the panaque family.... planetcatfish said it's Ancistrini sp which i thought means Ancistrius.

If that's the case, i wont mix them with the L134, L128 and L236

A mixture of cani and algae based food will work fine. :)

Allan, When you say cold, what temp are you talking about?

Just got my L239 from Ben... He said that the L239 is most susceptible to white spot disease aka ICH. Any comments on this?

I keep my tank at about 28-29 degrees. No fan.... if need be I can add fan or heater.... but since in Singapore, temp should not fluctuate that much...
thanks all.. still new at plecos... sorry for the silly questions

Jeff

from personal experience this is reasonably true. i once lost 4 pieces due to ich when i house them tgt in a tank placed right under a ceiling fan. i think my tank temp was around 28 deg at that time. :(
