After reading the report, the first thing that strike my mind is: Must he shot at his chest? Why not immobilize him by shooting at his limbs, at least he may still survive and can be interrogated to provide detail information of his motive to stab the decease?

when suspect suddenly turns around with knife charging at u ... u still got time to think meh?

either he die or u die leh ...

Btw .. dun think shot is from the fella being chopped ... but his colleague ...for cases like this ... usually 2 approach ... another 2 behind with hands on revolver ..

The suspect murder got the intention of charging at you to kill you,
if you dont kill him, who knows you are the first one to die..

our local policeman are not even trained to do all this at all......who know maybe this is that policeman first time open a shot in the public.....while some dont even have a chance to do it during their 2yrs of service inside too......of cos kan cheong when thing happen loh.....:o :D

ehh ... in factual .. I'm still an MP leh .. :D

my unit uses P226 which is stronger than .38 pistols of police ... but my battalion dun use P226 leh ... we use only MGs ... :D
