Taking a short stay while on work assignment at Hsin Chu..........

Not as fantastic as i expected. The entire strip is about 200m housed with about 20 lfs.

Delighted to see such a live specimen. Retailing at 58,000NT (S$1=NT20). i was quoted at 45,000NT..........

Saw this juv L14 at another lfs........ it does not look like a common L14. Is it a so call L14a?

Tats all folk, too engross in seeing and did not take much pic. Pleco in TW is not as much i expected but the buying power is still there cos before i can call some bros here about the BES, it was bagged on the spot by a big time hobbyist. At least i know this piece is gona be in good hands for sure becos this guy has 3 other BES at home and the biggest is about 12". Understanding from him, he missed tat piece, which was brought by GEcko. Inbcluding this piece that i saw today, he owned 4 pieces, all from Waterworld....... cheers :)

By the way, i stay at Delight Hotel, 432 Chang Chun Rd. It cost NT100-105 to reach M.C.East Rd Sec 5.

I took a 20-30min walk from M.C.East Rd Sec 5 to RaoHe Night Market.

The place where i reside, is known to be the central of Taipei city, which means, traveling to Xi Men Ding or Shiling Night market will cost about NT 150-NT200........

From hotel to Airport(taoyuan), it cost me NT1000 (i rode on a Camry, Shiok) and the journey too approx 40-50min depends on traffic.

Bro, cant like tat say. TW has always been a place all pleco lovers pay pilmerage to. HK was just a place where pleco hobbyist are the most concentrated thus more updates on them.

Agree, was told alot of HK hobbyist went there to pack fish back. But from the bottom of my heart, kinda disappt with wat i saw...maybe my expectation is too high? :p

Next time i go, i will cheong BAsil aquarium......... :)

Shih Chu has quite a handful.......... but i didnt take any pics la....... actuali they so poor thing, temp so cold yet they need to wear so little, tough life.

My frd was in taipei, visited Waterworld, saw few tanks of Hypancistrus Sp. Looks like L236........... over 200-300 pieces............ normal looking ones selling at about 100uplus sing and those with more white and fine black lines selling at near 200sing (but these higher end hypan all are booked n sold).......

How i wish i am there now! :(
