which version are you at? for myself, i have upgrade to lastest v1.1.4, jailbreak and unlock with iplus, then instal 3rd party software, solve all my problems. As compared to v1.1.2, i think its more stable. you can visit iclarified.com to read through all the tutorials.

now about $700plus >$760 should be able to get u a brand new one. then unlock yourself. but if driving, abit problemaic to answer calls. apple blue tooth only response to apple bluetooth headphones. unless u use the earphones.

but for some reason, there is alot of rumours who stated singapore is selling very soon, i got my 1st one then sold off, then after waiting for 3-5 mths, bue ta han get another one. now they say 3g iphone is coming, so its up to you to decide..

As for the user interface, i have no comments on it. :D:D:D

Mine is also 1.1.4, problem solved ! already installed all the patch files and the phone is champion now ! :D. Moreover, when I bought it during my recent Vietnam trip, my Vietnamese Kaki already cracked, download all the necessary stuffs and a software for unlocking the iphone for just in case ! :D

A "fully updated, plug and play " iphone is going for about S$1k. Reckon " Singtel" launch is Sept/ Oct timeframe. :)

I'm in the states now, they dun even have any stock on sale at the apple shops when I went to the 1 in Portland downtown area.
The ones they're selling seems to be 3G already.

swee.. some pple saying singtel selling 600 with line.. blah blah blah.. anyway is price is 399 for 8gb and 499 for 16gb is USD. soon beta 2.0 will be out also.. unlocking and jailbreak is simple as long as you follow the tutorials.

3g out? i dont think that will be as easy to jailbreak and unlock. apple have already taken precaution regarding it.

if you buy from US, i think there will some tax on it. not too sure weather worth anot. you can try asking..

i got mine from Vpost, just transfer $ and pray hard it arrival.:D

I got my US colleague to get the sets for me, same price as what u quoted, just need to top up a bit in terms of treating him beer :p

There are some online sites which teaches u how to crack FOC as well.
Anyway, my US colleague was telling me that Apple will be releasing unlocked version in Jun this yr in the US :cool:

It is a 3G phone hence should be able to use, will check out this November :D coz ' I will be going to Nagoya, Toyama, Osaka and Kyoto.

My colleague borrowed my K800i during her holiday in Hokkaido last Month, she said the phone very champion leh ! :D

U already got the 3G iphone or planning to get when launch in Q3 by Singtel?
I just brought back 4 sets for my colleagues 2 weeks ago, but as they're still the 2.5g, I decide to wait 1st :D
