just got these but can tell if they are the same as sturisoma,they are about 6 to 7 inches,but they look different from what i got here,thank you.

Bro you mean royal twig catfish? For this whiptail catfish, there are actually 3 kinds: Sturisoma panamense, Sturisoma festivum and Sturisoma Aureum. Sturisoma panamense and Sturisoma Aureum in particular are difficult to tell apart, at least for me. :o
