Blessed, now i own a comm of 4 pieces....... thanks to Orr (their whips are damn chio) . :) If u ready to own it back let me kn0w......... :)

Personally i have this personal opinion on this species of acanthicus. i realise tat for most of them, their pectoral hard rays are often "bend" 90degree, instead of straight. Is this due to the fact tat it is a Albino and hence result in geneticaly defects? Lack of calcium by nature?

How i come to this conclusion is becos, normal A. Adonis seldom have bend pectoral hard ray, even if not well taken care of when young.

Wats ur view?

think it's not due to nature but more of a genetically altered defect.....................

correct me if i'm wrong, AAs are man-made, orh orh's batch arrived at the time where ppl are scrambling for AAs.................... hence there was this rush to "rush out" this fish................. the albino senegal and the albino knifefish illustrates this (price for them when they first came out was around $180-200).........................

the previous ones that reached us before and around 2005 do not seem to have this problem.........................

any other views?????????????????

generally, there are still good ones around, just that the occurence rate is higher for the AAs as highlighted by Ed.........................

Take a look at this, i find this common, i agree with henry, i think albino are genetically defective..... one of the 3 new acquistion. Smallest of the lot, so rear it with my L144s....... hope to beef it up to 7"(SL) by end of the year..... now 3.5"-4"(SL)

Point taken... In truth I do notice that there are defects with their pectoral fins, a lot are bent.. and as they grow, there will be some irregularities noticed.
