think this specimen is seldom talked about..................

personally, i feel this fish is pretty splendid and majestic looking, plus the charcoal black body and slender lateral "behind" makes it stands out from the rest................

seldom is there one which is above 12inch seen in LFS......................

Once saw a >12" fellow at FH, it was claimed by owner that is it the above subject. Frankly speaking, how to differentiate it from a Adonis?

differentiate between hysterix and adonis @ juv is pretty easy ..

adonis got spots .. hysterix no spots ...

for adults ... adonis head is steeper/less inclined .. meaning smaller ... while hysterix is the opposite ...

i doubt it is natural body shape.... initially when CF landed the 2.5footer, i can recall vivdly tat the fellow was without any hunch, but due to lacking of nutrient feed, tat fellow slowly digest its fat and become hunch back..... but is still eating fine and well, cos i witnessed Jason feeding it..... too bad, at tat point of time, no such a big tank to own it...... sad....
