Welcome to PCS, Ventouz.
Quick question: You only have the tank half filled, intentional?

The fish remain continuously at the bottom of the tank, fill up at the top is not an obligation. By cons, the floor area and the number of cache is important.
Why? How do you do?

Thank you very much!
Excuse me for translation (google translation ...).
Yes, plécos are readily available in France. I have maintained L260, L177. Now I have my L46 just because it's a lot of work has to maintain ...
The Zébras are very expensive in France, I made nearly two years have mine.
I have a tank grassissement for the 240L and 100L for reproduction.

Agree that floor area and number of caves are important. Having a bigger volume of water is also important as pH, ammonia or temperature fluctuations are more diffused by bigger volume of water, hence "safer" or more "forgiving". Of course good filteration and regular water change helps too. :)

I'm trying to have a continually ph between 6 and 7, a temperature between 28/30, a good oxygenation ... I do not particularly encouraging, not simulation seasons.
If I was not a lot of eggs (5-6), I think that the female is either too young or the male does not leave time to rest females.
Many change water because of nitrates ...
