anyone interested to get this book???
I am planning to get one, thus sharing this with everyone here. I would say it is a comprehensive book for all pleco keepers, apart from aqualog or those jap books.

Maybe we can do a MO for this, with the help of a kind bro here.

Hahaha... we were just talking about the book earlier at C328.
I have already purchased the book.
As mentioned to cilicrabz, the book should cost between SGD$55 to $60.
Ideally, it should be ordered in quantities of 9 books to maximize postage and not attract GST.

This book's published date is November 2007.
Its the newest book avialable on plecos.
And if you know Ingo Seidel... don't need to think already.
The first 53 pages goes though general information and care about plecos.
While the rest of the book is dedicated to description of the various species.
This section is organized by genus rather than L-numbers.
If there are special note this is where you will find the information/picture.

I'd say this book compiles all that is known about plecos to date in a single book.
Its not a scientific paper/book but summerizes what a beginner needs to know.
For "old hands", it reinforces or "reminds" you of the knowledge you have accumulated over the years from various sources.

I'd like to suggest that the first order goes ahead with 9 copies.
As the response looks good I will go ahead and order first so you guys dont have to wait too long.
Considering the content I am quite sure I will not get stuck with multiple copies of the book.
After the first order, maybe someone can take ove the next 9 copies? :D

Also, for the distribution, I'd like tosuggest a week night at C328 as I dont drive.

I'm trying my luck with amazon.com @ US$27.43 excluding freight to Singapore.

With conservative exchange rates converting US$27.43, it should rank up to S$40 @ max.

which speaks I've another S$20 via vpost to freight it back to Singapore.

Problem is that it'll take around 1 month to reach me.

See how it goes .... sadly cant consolidate more for amazon.com order ... cos its left with only 1 book ...

The good news is the stock has arrived.
The bad news is I'm going for a dive holiday over the long weekend... :p

Finally received my copy today from amazon ...

Total price inclusive with vpost freight is roughly about MO price ... but it seems that amazon has increased it pricing back to US$36.99 which is around US$10 more than wat I paid for initially ...

As most of you may know the USD has strengthed against the SGD.
The per copy price is now estimated at $63.
