How to ID small royal of size 1-2" size

just a bit hard to describe in words. I paid tuition fees years back by buying all the juveniles royals plus go with old birds to farms etc to view new shipments.

L190, L191, LDA63, L203, L90, L27 Tocantins, L27 Araguaia shud be very easy...

L27 Topajos can be confused with Araguaia...

Maybe if you ask specifically which sp or have pic, might be able to be more detailed....

well saw some mini royals at PRFF mainly 190/191.
but out of them r a few light green , bright orange eyes with nicely space out fine lines royal. could tis be the 3-4" 27 in market at current?

and to add on some with v nice spotted royals, but i ponder will it grow up to be a 190 instead :o

The light green ones should be L191.

L190 you will be able to see small little spots at the end of lines in the pect and dorsal fins.

Spotted ones with spotted tummy should be L330.

These are basic guides but again, there will be variants some times which make it challenging. I forgot but will look up on which ones have a little "white window" on the tail, that helps too.

but light geen fine lines as in complete lines does small 191 have orangy eyes too? :confused:
