Buy what? Plecos, aros, other tank mates, DW or rocks?
No news of any >10" L253 or a Mama L81 lor :p
Somemore, S'pore Pools also never return my money :p
Anyway, even though u see so few fishes in my tank, the waste produced per day is super high, practically have to change the filter wool every alternate day

It is alot of work. You may consider other alternative. Like 2 x E pro III :)

I'm thinking more along the direction of adding in a OHF, with OR3500 replacing the Aquabee 3000 & adding either Tunze or Hydor wave-makers to sweep the waste towards the overflow inlet.

Well, for my case, I am using 2028x1 and 2228 x1 for my 3 feet. and I never have to siphon dirt off during water change. Because it simply works like a gem!
Water is most important. And feeding is secondary. Feed algae wafer to carnivores will also work if your water is ok. Sometime don't feed also can.
My point of view though

Dun feed for me lagi jia lat, cos my plecos will chew on the DW & generate even more waste meaning more wool change :(
