Caves are all DIY by myself using granite, silicone and Slates....hopefull good enough for them...filter wise is a DIY overhead filter. hehe...
have placed 6 Otos inside...will only put the L174s in once tank is cycled enough....
will add in my cannister once i release these ottos....hehe...

Just remember what I told Johannes the other day.
If the substarte is ADA Amazonia, please do a lot of water change everyday.
Reason is that Amazonia, in particular Amazonia I, has more fertilizer in it for plants.
The ammonia levels and so on will be high!
You can use an old toothbrush to remove the "white wool" before a water change.
Then siphon out the stuff you brush away.

Very nice setup indeed... I like the way you have created those caves... Can we have a close up picture of the cave?
L174s are really nice and one of my favourite plecos (then again I do like most of them...) Good luck and I hope they breed for you :)
