What medicine is a definite disastrous to L046?

hi,
would like some advice on what medicine can be used for common infections of the L046 , e.g. fungus, external bacteria, interior bacteria infection, red streaks, etc. (other than heater use)
Any experience with either brand or type of medication would be deeply appreciated.

Ich ( White spot )

metronidazole. 400mg/10 gallons ( marketed as Flagyl )
Or use heater to higher temp. to 31-32 'C 4-5 days ;)
