View Full Version : Is this skin growth normal?

This piece that i have seem to have "fungi like" growth recently. Only this fellow has. Is this normal? i have never see this kind of growth before. Can share your views?

feeding is normal, and it is growing fatter and fatter day by day until i have to control feeding.

i have not encountered this before, neither have i seen it. It dun looks serious thou. but u gotta monitor it closely.

However, i do encounter something else. a "pimple-liked" growth is growing on the head of one of my fishes. reddish in colour. Looks exactly like a pimple with pus inside. I was wandering if any medication can cure it or simply let it heal by its own.

Since you mentioned, i share my fair share of experience in handling pimples, but on KOI. I c utted the pimple off and apply PP solution. if well cuted, once is enuff. :)

think i will just let it heal back to normal bah, so this time round, there will be only 1 fish participating liao.....

any pics to show? some instances, the will not healed back, but develop as lump, kinda unsightly, get ur shifu to help u ba. :)
