View Full Version : Gravel to recommend

Believe that gravel is one of the "need to have" fixtures in setting up tanks. Recently, i found this gravel in a LFS. They are round smooth tiny size and not very black to look artifical. Although not branded but it does works perfectly fine without altering the PH level in the tank.

i got it <$8 for a 4kg pack. It comes in brown too. Currently i am using the "black" for my L46 setup.

Is it ur photography skill or.. they are so natural looking. Can share which LFS where u get them from?

Definitely not my photography skill cos i realy have trouble getting good shot like others. :( i got them at Pasir Ris farm L35, Ah Soon. :)

Is it sand or is it like ada soil which will breakdown and become muddy after some time?

Iz sand and wil not disintegrate in mud. :)

I can't tell the grain size from your pictures but I like the texture and grey colour!
Is it like Dennerle grain size? (1 to 3mm)
Also, is it like quartz?
Please PM me the brand and which LFS.
