This is another setup for L46s.

Jus sharing my latest setup. The ph is on a higher side measuring 7.5 at least. Hope it will settle down soon. Fortunately the L46s look fine and feeding well.

Tankset : 2ftx1.5ftx1ft(H)
Filter : Ehiem 2028 cannister
Media : BioHomme(grey)
Substrate : No brand black gravel
Cave : 40mm PVC pipes (Opening of cave heated to form semi circle or Triangular shape)
Decor : Snake like driftwoods and smooth rocks

Livestock:
1) 5 x L46s (should be all males)
2) 2 x L10a (red lizard cat)
3) still looking for nice characins/tetra mates

bro no worries on the pH... It's not academically ideal, but according to this link (http://www.mchportal.com/fishkeeping-mainmenu-60/stock-the-inhabitants-mainmenu-79/breeding-hints-and-tips-mainmenu-83/49-breeding-hints-and-tips/285-keeping-and-breeding-hypancistrus-zebra-l46.html) zebra in slightly alkaline pH can also grow, if not flourish.

Nice setup! But hope you secure the loose rocks at the back, otherwise if they collapse...

Thanks mate, noted on the loose rocks advises and the assurance of the higher PH, from past bad experience, it killed alot of zebras and hypancistrus, but this time, probably go cycling, they already begins to feed. cheers
