Oops. My fault. I didn't follow up on that thread. Usually most folks will just say hi there and go on to other sub sections. Glad that the identity issued is sorted.

As for fish photography, long time never practice already. Kind of give up since Jan 2006. The last time I shot a fish was at Aquarama when AF need to cover the event. Definitely would love to shoot some plecos again. Want to do the Japanese style shoot. Very nice!

Thanks man! Nice to finally meet you.

As for the Lightsphere, it was my first time using it that night. As the night falls, the lighting was not too good. The Omni-bounce effect was not so good in such an open space and the shadows were still a bit harsh. So switch over to the light sphere. Was quite happy with the results. Can we modify it and use it for fish photography?

Cheers,
I've tried Lighsphere with cloud dome on my recent field trip showing goldlines ...

Link: http://www.plecoclub.org/forum/showthread.php?t=98

Colouration is pretty even and not as harsh (details r retained for white-based objects - see macro chew chew shots) as stofen omnibounce ... but does have some problems of its own ... like:
- Requires higher GN in comparison to bounce cards and omnibounce
- Maggi mee cup does cause some obstructions esp when its slightly tilted or when u r near the glass tanks ...

Shots without domes r better for rear curtain (illum) shots ... and does induce some flares from glass tanks ....

Above are my experiences on lightsphere in fish photography
